Abbey Road Impressions
Alex Otey’s latest Americana album is an inspired work based on one of the most iconic recording studios in the world – Abbey Road Studios.
Having traveled to London in late 2019 to track ideas for the music for a new album and to gain inspiration from this amazing studio, plans to return to London in 2020 were met with a global pandemic. A year later a studio in Boston reached out and asked if there were any projects they could assist with. By late 2021 efforts to build this album got underway, but starting to record the album ran into further delays. Through steady perseverance and pure devotion, this project has finally come to life!
Mastering of Abbey Road Impressions at Abbey Road Studios was finally complete in 2026!
** Much has happened since the inception of the concept of this album, including Artificial Intelligence. This music began in the pre-AI era of music, reaching back in time, while being fresh & inspiring for today’s listeners!
